The reason that most websites are not making money is not a lack of traffic; it is a low or slow conversions.
If traffic is coming to your site and you don't know what to do with it. You might as well not have any traffic at all.
You should not care about hits, clicks or visitors.
The most important number for any site that is looking to be profitable is sales/vistor. Increase that number and you are on your way to online marketing success.
Check your landing pages right now and check these online converson items:
1.) Are You Selling Something That Your Visitors Can Buy?
2.) Do you have a way to capture the names and numbers of the people who visit your site?
3.) Are you landing pages fast loading and specific to the traffic that their are receiving either by PPC traffic or organic traffic.
If you are not doing all of these things you are losing money right now.

Sub Headline
Image that relates to the story you are trying to tell.
Call to action
Warranty
Contact Methods Clearly Visible on the site.
I was surfing today and ran across several sites that did not have the basics of online conversion applied to their sites.
Believe me the sites were well done with flash and such. But they did not sell anything, give the visitor an easy way to get more information or capture the name and email of the visitor.
Do you think that those website owners are aware that their pages are not converting traffic? I guess not!?!?!?!
